7th Grade Social Studies
We will study the Italian Renaissance, understand the life of the upper and lower class, the spread of the Renaissance in northern and western Europe, review for test on Friday

Homework:
Monday-  lesson review 441, 1-4
Tuesday-  describe the upper and lower class during the Renaissance
Wednesday-  lesson review pg. 450 1-5
Thursday-  study for ch. 13 lesson 2&3

6th Grade Social Studies
We will study how Rome becomes an Empire, daily life in a Roman Fort, comparing Republican Government, review elements of American Government, test on Friday

Homework:
Monday-  lesson review pg. 441 1-4
Tuesday-  finish review questions pg.442-449 all blue and essential questions
Wednesday-  comparing Republican Government pg. 439
Thursday-  study for test 13 lesson 1, 2, and 3,

8th Grade Social Studies
We will review what we learned about the Civil War, focus on General Robert E. Lee and U. S. Grant, Gettysburg, map of the war, test on Friday

Homework:
Monday- lesson review pg. 491 1-4
Tuesday- section review pg. 497 1-4
Wednesday- pg. 498, theme, applying citizenship skills, analyzing leadership
Thursday  study for test on Friday

6th Grade Social Studies
We will study The Roman Empire, learn how Rome became an Empire, map skills

Tuesday- lesson review pg. 449 1-4
Wednesday- finish map of the Roman Empire

7th Grade Social Studies
We will study the Reformation and Martin Luther, the ninety five thesis, reform and reaction

Homework:

Monday- spiders from reading 5/4
Tuesday- all review questions from reading 5 total  lesson 2
Wednesday- map skills and the spread of Reformation

8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the issue of slavery dominates Politics, election of 1860, focus on critical thinking questions/map skills of 1860

Homework:
Monday- section review pg. 470, 1-4
Tuesday- section review pg. 475, 1-4
Wednesday- map skills of 1860


Elective:  Art History
We will study Still Life  (working in space).

We will work on the Cesar Chavez  Project, finish reading about the Ottoman Empire, and review for test on Thursday.

Wednesday- study for test on ch.10 lesson 4 &5
Thursday- map skills of  Europe

6th Grade Social Studies
We will study Cesar Chavez Project, finish the legacy of the Greek civilization, review for test, introduction to the rise of Rome

Monday- Project on Cesar Chavez
Tuesday- lesson review pg. 417 1-4
Wednesday- study for test ch. 12,  lesson 4
Thursday- the rise of Rome pg. 435 1-4

8th. Grade Social Studies
We will work on Cesar Chavez Project,  introduction to the Civil War, tensions between the North and South, map skills
