7th Grade Social Studies
We will start the ITBS Test, learn more about the Byzantine Empire, study the legacy of  Rome, Map Skills of Rome and 50 States


6th Grade Social Studies
We will study Mesopotamia, understand the ancient irrigation system, work on Map Skills of  Mesopotamia. Map skills of United States


8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the early Colonies of the English, the New England Colonies, understand the map of the New World, and Map Skills of the 50 States


Elective
We will work on Keyboard Skills


*Again, no homework because of ITBS Testing week

Thursday-  finish notes on I Pad, lesson summary, test tomorrow Ch. 2 lesson 3&4

6th Grade Social Studies
We will study the first communities, explore life in a complex village, review for standardized testing, test on Thursday, Ch. 2 lesson 3

8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the Spanish and natives in the new world, understand the Colombian Exchange, review for basic concepts for standardized test, test on Thursday

Objective we will study the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, understand the Roman Culture, Society, Government, and Military conquest.  Review for test on Friday September 20, map skills of Rome. Start reviewing for Iowa Standardized Testing.
