6th Grade Science: We will study earth's magnetic field, the layers of the earth, start vocabulary for Iowa Testing, review chapter 1 for assessment on Wednesday.
Homework:
Monday- answer compare and contrast questions page 19 and 20, study vocabulary
Tuesday- study for assessment on chapter 1 and 2 chapter I
Wednesday- finish layers of the earth due tomorrow page 21
7th Grade Science: We will focus on how the microscope help discovery of the cell, start studying vocabulary for the Iowa Test, review for assessment on Thursday chapter I.1 page 2-18.
Homework:
Monday- Describe how cells come from other cells
Tuesday- study vocabulary words, answer check your understanding questions page 13 and 14
Wednesday- Study for assessment tomorrow chapter I.1 page 2-18
6th Grade Social Studies:
We will study themes of geography and climate, start studying vocabulary for Iowa testing, review for assessment on Thursday, study types of maps.
Homework:
Monday- study vocabulary words, draw a geographic grid page 18
Tuesday- questions on page 19-23
Wednesday- finish lesson summary page 23/lesson review page 23 1-5 for assessment tomorrow, we will start the questions in class.
7th Grade Social Studies:
We will study Historians and Geography, start reviewing for Iowa testing, understand types of maps, mapping the world, starting reviewing for assessment on Thursday chapter I lesson 1 and 2.
Homework:
Monday- map skills geographic grid page 17, review vocabulary
Tuesday- answer review questions from reading page 21 1-5
Wednesday- study for assessment on chapter I lesson 1 and 2 page 8-21
8th Grade Social Studies:
We will focus on human geography and movement, start reviewing vocabulary for Iowa testing, review for assessment on Thursday page 2-31
Homework:
Monday- answer questions on page 19 1-2, study vocabulary words
Thursday- study vocabulary words, finish answering questions on page 20 1-5
Wednesday- questions on page 31 1-3/this is for the assessment tomorrow we will start the questions in class
