7th Grade Social Studies
We will study Geography of the world, and mapping the world, Map Skills of the world, and understand how Historians use maps.  Quiz on Thursday.

Homework:
Tuesday:     answer review questions pg. 13, 1-5
Wednesday:  answer blue questions pg. 15-19  1-5/ study for quiz
Thursday:   finish map skills

6th Grade Social Studies
We will study world geography,  understand how maps help us study History, Map Skills, quiz on Friday. 

Homework
Tuesday:    answer review questions pg. 12  1-5
Wednesday:  finish spiders from reading pg. 15-21  4/5
Thursday:  finish essential questions from reading pg. 22-24/ study for quiz

8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the World in 1500, the many societies of North America, Map Skills,  quiz on Thursday.

Homework:

Tuesday:  understand themes of Geography, 50 states Map Skills, study to world in the 1500, discover the societies of North America, quiz on Thursday.

Tuesday:  Longitude and latitude,
Wednesday:  answer questions pg. 31 1-4
Thursday:   finish questions pg. 37 1-3/ study for quiz.

Health/Nutrition
We will study basic elements of Health and good Nutrition

Review Historical Themes in Social Studies. Why Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Speech is important in American History. 50 States Activity.

Wednesday:   Creative writing what I learned about the importance of the MLK Jr. Dream Speech
Thursday:       Understanding primary and secondary sources pg. S8-S11

6th Grade Social Studies
We will focus on classroom expectations and rules. review rules for switching. Understand Historical Themes, understand patterns in History, Map Skills 50 States. Why is the Martin Luther King Jr. important?
