              will be little or no homework during the testing time.

We will study chapter 3 Ancient Mesopotamia, map skills of the world, vocabulary and concepts of the Iowa Test, map skills of the world

Homework:
Monday-  essential questions from reading page 83-86
Tuesday-  read up to page 93, make 5 spiders with 4 lines each
Wednesday- no homework
Thursday-  review vocabulary and study for quiz on chapter 3 lesson 1 and 2


7th Grade Social Studies
We will study the Beginning of Islam chapter 3 lesson 1 and 2 page 84-96, Review vocabulary terms and concepts for Iowa Testing, map skills of the world

Homework:
Monday- Answer lesson review questions page 89 1-2/ vocabulary is number 1 page 89
Tuesday-  answer lesson review questions page 3-6 page 89
Wednesday- no homework
Thursday-  study for quiz on chapter 3 lesson 1 and 2

8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the 13 colonies chapter 3 section 1 and 2, define vocabulary and concepts for Iowa Testing, world map skills

Tuesday- answer questions section 2 page 97 1-3

We will study critical thinking questions, understand domesticated animals, assessment on chapter 2, start studying for Iowa Testing.

Homework:
Monday-  finish chart page 73
Tuesday-  study vocabulary words
Wednesday- work on terms and concepts write each term 5 times each
Thursday-  study vocabulary and political cartoon

7th Grade Social Studies
We will study the legacy of the Roman Empire, understand terms and vocabulary for Iowa Testing, understand political cartoon, charts and graphs.

Homework:
Monday-  study vocabulary words/spiders from reading
Tuesday-  define each vocabulary word 5 times each
Wednesday-  interpret charts, bar graphs from reading
Thursday-  review vocabulary and political cartoon

8th Grade Social Studies
We will study European Exploration of the new world, assessment on chapter 2 Tuesday, start reviewing for the Iowa Testing.

Monday-  study for chapter 2 assessment
Tuesday-  read chapter 3 section 1 page 85-89
Wednesday-  define each term 5 times
Thursday-  finish interpreting charts graphs, and political cartoons

 Monday:  We will have a assessment on chapter I lesson 1, 2, 3. Start reading lesson 4 page 38-43.

                Monday:  Finish lesson review page 38- 43  answer questions 1-3 page 43
                Tuesday:  Start map on page 47 for a grade due on Thursday/ Questions page 55 1-3
                Wednesday:  Finish map/ color for grade due tomorrow
