6th Grade Science
We will  review what we learned about Diabetes, and Heredity, investigate the Science of Solving Crime.

Homework:
Monday- make a list of bullet points from reading 6-8 total
Tuesday-  read the article on Forensics
Wednesday- describe what a crime scene is

7th Grade Science
We will investigate Fermentation, Energy, and exercise. Explore Carbon Dioxide levels and Active Transport

Homework:
Monday-  answer questions on page 55, 1-3
Tuesday-  creative writing on Carbon Dioxide Levels in the Biosphere
Wednesday- answer questions on page 63, 1-4

6th Grade Social Studies
We will work on our research projects on Globalization, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, Worlds, explore the end of the Cold War and how it ushered in the East and West Blocks

7th Grade Social Studies
We will work on International Globalization, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, Worlds Projects, focus on Economic issues tat affect Global Markets

6th Grade Science
We will study Genetics and Heredity, learn about diabetes, study George Mendel, look at video on Mendel and Genetics. Assessment on Thursday.

Homework:
Monday-  creative writing, write about how a person can prevent diabetes
Tuesday-  read the article on the Science of Mutants
Wednesday-  research who Mendel was and what is he known for
Thursday-  finish Mendel's Grew Jelly Beans Squares from Science Weekly magazine

7th Grade Social Studies
We will study the Cell and chemical reaction, understand how Cells ingest nutrition, explore jobs in Science, formation and energy assessment on Friday

Tuesday-  answer questions on page 45 1-2
Wednesday-  check your reading from reading up to page 51
Thursday investigate fermentation and energy

6th Grade Social Studies
WE will study Early Empires, the Babylon Empire, who Hammurabi was, the rule of the Assyrians and Chaldeans, understand the hanging gardens of Babylon, assessment on Friday chapter 4

6th Grade Science we will review what we learned about the cell, study cell division, parts of the cell, make a list of vocabulary words and define each, assessment on the cell on Wednesday.

Monday- study cell drawing from Science Weekly
Tuesday-  define vocabulary of the cell
Wednesday- write notes for assessment tomorrow and review the cell
Thursday-  what is Pangaea?

7th Grade Science:
We will study cell cycle and mitosis, drawing of mitosis due on Thursday, review for assessment chapter 3 page 94-95 1-15, assessment on Thursday.

Monday-  list the step on Mitosis from page 82
Tuesday- answer questions on page 85, 1-3
Wednesday- finish questions  on page 94-95 1-10
