6th Grade Science
We will discuss science project papers, if you did not turn in assignment 1 or 2 turn it in today so you can get credit. Focus on plants and terrariums, the role of plants and human life
Homework:
Monday- work on science fair projects investigation and research
Tuesday- what is your hypothesis? How is it related to science
Wednesday- explain what a terrarium is
7th Grade Science
We will study movement and force, bones and living tissues, discuss science fair project
Homework:
Monday- work on science fair project
Tuesday- answer check your reading questions from page 350-355
Wednesday- explain what your hypothesis is and how is it scientific?
6th Grade Social Studies
We will study the civilization of Kush, work on world map due on Wednesday, study 50 states
Homework:
Monday- spiders from reading page 189-192
Tuesday- finish world map due tomorrow
Wednesday- you may turn in your world map tomorrow if you did not on Tuesday
7th Grade
We will study the Kongo Kingdom, focus on visual summary and main idea page 202, work on world map due on Wednesday
Homework:
Monday- spiders from reading
Tuesday- finish world map due tomorrow
Wednesday- make a list of why gold is a world wide appeal
8th Grade Social Studies
We will study the declaration of Independence, understand the "Shot Heard Around the World."
Map of the world due on Wednesday
Homework:
Monday- section review on page 181 1-3
Tuesday- finish world map due tomorrow
Wednesday- finish map of Europe
